Editing Alert Thresholds

Bot MD Care allows you to set clinical alert thresholds for individual patients if required.

Alerts are notifications sent to a clinical user that you designate when enrolling your patient (Clinical User to Alert). Note that the Clinical User in charge does not receive any clinical alerts and the Clinical User to Alert is the only one capable of receiving clinical alerts. These are triggered when any of your patient's submitted parameters indicate:

  • A symptom (selected from images or from a list)
  • A positive or negative response to a question (Yes or No)
  • Readings / Lab values higher than, lower than, or equal to set thresholds (greater than / less than / equal to)

There are 2 places via which alert thresholds can be edited. First is via Patient List --> More Settings --> View Clinical Settings ; second is via Patient Monitoring Page --> More Settings --> View Clinical Settings.

Changing Clinical Settings via Patient List

1. Tap the Hamburger icon then  Patient List.

2. Under Patient List ðŸ“’, search for your patient then tap on More Settings and select View Clinical Settings.

3. Choose the desired parameter then tap on More settings and Edit alert threshold.

4. Make changes to Alert Threshold then tap on Save.

Under the setting above, a selected Clinical user to Alert will receive an alert message the patient's Diastolic blood pressure is greater than 100 (e.g. 101 and higher), and less than 50 (e.g. 49 and lower). However if "Greater than or equal to" is selected, an alert will be triggered if the patient's reading is 100 and higher; and if "Lesser than or equal to" is selected, an alert will be triggered if the patient's reading is 51 and below.

Changing Clinical Settings via Patient Monitoring

1. Tap the Hamburger icon then  Patient Monitoring ðŸ“’, search for your patient then click on More Settings and select View Clinical Settings.

2. Search for your patient then click on More Settings and select View Clinical Settings

Repeat steps 3-4 above.
