Patient Compliance

Bot MD Care incudes a feature to track patient compliance in submitting their readings and/or vital signs via the monitoring forms.

What Makes a Patient Compliant or Non-Compliant

Example: Customized Setting Reminder times and Compliance Window times:

  • Set 21:00 (9:00pm) for patients to receive reminders
  • Set 4 hours before reminder, and 2 hours after reminder

A patient is considered compliant if she/he submits anytime from 17:00 (5:00pm) till 23:00 (11:00pm). If a patient fails to submit within these set times (aka "grace period"), they will appear under the Non-Compliant Patients.

So in the example above if the patient submits a reading from 5pm to just before 9 pm, she/he will be deemed compliant and a reminder will not be sent.

If a patient fails to submit by 9pm, she/he will receive a reminder message and will be immediately listed in non compliant patients. The patient has 2 hours to submit after the reminder is set (until 11pm)  to become compliant; so if the patient submits at 10pm, she/he will be removed from the non compliant list.

Non-compliant patients are patients who have not submitted their vital sign readings when they are supposed to within the last 24 hours.  These patients will continue to remain in the non-compliant list and will continue to receive reminders until they make a submission within the set compliance window.
